Jerangkang Waterfalls

Posted in Malaysia by admin - Feb 3, 2010

Jerangkang Waterfalls, located in Pahang, West Malaysia, offers a series of over 40 alluring waterfalls, with sizable pools for enjoyable cool dips, natural “Jacuzzi” or just lazing around. It is also the sister waterfall of the famous Berkelah Waterfalls nearby.

The trek up the mid-level of cascades is relatively easy while the trail that leads up to the top cascades may require a bit of jungle bashing. The summit pool, affectionately called the “Blue Lagoon”, is a beautiful greenish-blue pool with a nearby small wild orchid garden.

The base camp is usually via a 4-wheel-drive through shallow steams and rubber plantations and a short 15 minutes trek thereafter.
